The PX12SUB is an active 12-inch subwoofer system from the PX Series, designed to add deep, tactile low-frequency foundation to compact full-range loudspeaker setups. Serving as a dedicated bass reinforcement solution, this subwoofer is ideal for small-to-medium venues, touring acoustic acts, corporate presentations, and portable DJ rigs. Its compact form factor allows sound engineers to introduce punchy, extended bass without sacrificing valuable stage space or transport volume.

Delivering serious low-end impact, the PX12SUB features an internal amplifier providing 500 Watts AES of continuous power and 1000 Watts Peak output, achieving a Maximum SPL of 100 dB Peak. Designed with ample power headroom, it reproduces heavy bass transients cleanly, ensuring that low-frequency audio remains distinct, dynamic, and distortion-free even at sustained high volumes.

The internal acoustic layout features a high-excursion 12-inch (300 mm) woofer fitted with a heavy-duty 3-inch voice coil. This substantial motor structure allows for maximum mechanical excursion and efficient heat dispersion, ensuring omnidirectional low-frequency radiation that integrates seamlessly with companion active mid/high tops.

Operating within a frequency bandwidth of 35 Hz to 120 Hz (±3dB), the PX12SUB produces tight, controlled bass with satisfying depth. The precision-tuned active crossover effectively filters out unwanted higher frequencies, allowing the woofer to focus purely on authoritative sub-bass performance with high acoustic purity.

The enclosure features professional connectivity options, including dual XLR inputs, dual XLR pass-through outputs for easy system daisy-chaining, and dual Nutrik NL-4 SpeakON connectors. Operating on standard AC 220V (50-60Hz) power with a 4 Ohm nominal impedance rating, the PX12SUB is housed in a rugged, tour-ready cabinet built for long-term reliability on the road.
